Narre Warren South electorate
Gary MAAS (Narre Warren South) (14:47): (505) My constituency question is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety and is regarding the Smarter Roads project. Minister, how will the Smarter Roads project’s pedestrian crossing technology assist pedestrians, students and traffic flow in my electorate of Narre Warren South? The Allan Labor government committed $340 million to the Smarter Roads project to improve travel times and the safety of drivers and pedestrians, and I was delighted recently to see the latest pedestrian sensors installed on the corner of Pound Road and Seebeck Drive near Waverley Christian College in my electorate. The installation of that technology has been really welcome. I look forward to sharing the minister’s response with my community.
