Dyson Group
Nathan LAMBERT (Preston) (13:48): I also had a chance to catch up with the Dyson Group just before Christmas with the member for Pascoe Vale. Dysons drive most of the bus routes in Reservoir and northern Preston, and they have just signed an MOU with the Transport Workers’ Union, which is a real credit to Andrew Jakab, Stuart Overell, Mike McNess, Mem Suleyman and the delegates of that union. I do want to make special mention of Reservoir locals Peter Dimovski and Gordon Robinson who have been driving Dyson buses for 35 and 42 years respectively. Well done, Peter and Gordon – many more years to come, I am sure. And a shout-out as well to Rochelle Dickason for her important comments at that event about improving gender diversity in the industry.
