Patience Community Services Incorporated
Ms HENNESSY (Altona) (09:43): I rise today to acknowledge and celebrate Patience Community Services Incorporated in my electorate that do fantastic work in supporting local multicultural communities, particularly those that are doing it tough. They help deliver in culturally appropriate ways and with culturally appropriate content the sort of support that people need in hard times. I am delighted that the Minister for Multicultural Affairs has recently announced a $24 999 contribution to their important work. I wanted to place on the record my acknowledgement of how important it is that they continue to provide that work, and I am so delighted that the government is supporting them.
