 Michael GALEA (South-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:53): (2383) My question is for the Minister for Children, and it concerns the Clyde north-west family and community centre currently under construction in the booming suburb of Clyde North. I did have the privilege of visiting the centre just a few days ago, along with the minister, Mr Tarlamis, Cr Stefan Koomen and Cr Anthony Walter as well. It will be a wonderful facility in the south-east, with family and kinder services onsite. Right next door as well is Turrun Primary School, providing that pathway from kinder through to primary school, making life easier for parents but also really critically making that transition from kinder to prep all that much easier for the young ones. My question to the minister is: how is this government investing in these important services for early childhood education and care in the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region?
