Adjournment
Ingrid STITT (Western Metropolitan – Minister for Mental Health, Minister for Ageing, Minister for Multicultural Affairs) (18:18): I move:
That the house do now adjourn.
Pick My Park
Ryan BATCHELOR (Southern Metropolitan) (18:19): (1916) My adjournment matter for this evening is to the Minister for Development Victoria and Precincts, and I seek information for my constituents about how they can participate in the Pick My Park program. One of the great things that we are seeing right across Melbourne, particularly in the Southern Metropolitan Region, is communities coming together wanting to improve their local communities, wanting to improve local infrastructure and wanting to improve local amenity. One of the ways that they can do that is through the Pick My Park program, a great initiative that gives people in our community the opportunity to put forward new ideas and be creative about how they want to improve their local community. I have been out in various parts of southern metropolitan Melbourne talking with locals about what they would like to see to improve their local parks, so what I seek from the minister is information on how these constituents can participate in the Pick My Park program.
