Western Metropolitan Region
Trung LUU (Western Metropolitan) (12:57): (1715) My question is for the Minister for Public and Active Transport. I ask: can the minister update my constituents on whether the government has any plan to extend bus route 441, which runs from Werribee railway station to Riverwalk estate on the northern side of Princes Highway in Werribee? Recently I was contacted by constituents in Riverwalk estate, particularly those near Riverwalk Primary School, who are concerned about difficulties in accessing a reliable, accessible bus service. This is a growing suburb, with many new homes being built in this part of Werribee. There is already a new school and a new kindergarten, and there is a plan for additional shops for the estate. Now it is time to plan for an extension of bus service 441 to service and accommodate the demand. I look forward to the minister updating my constituents.
