Rikkie-Lee TYRRELL (Northern Victoria) (12:58): (1618) My constituency question today is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety in the other place. My constituents ask the minister when the 60 kilometre per hour roadworks speed limit will be lifted from the Goulburn Valley Highway between Pretty John Road and Burkes Road. For at least eight months my constituents have been frustrated by the 60 k speed limit zone on the Goulburn Valley Highway, between Pretty John Road and Burkes Road at Wahring. This speed restriction was originally put in place for roadworks that have long since been completed, yet the speed restrictions remain in place. This is immensely frustrating for my constituents, many of whom travel this highway daily. My constituents ask the minister: when will the 60 k speed limit be lifted from the Goulburn Valley Highway between Pretty John Road and Burkes Road?
