Constituency questions
The SPEAKER (14:40): I have reviewed the constituency questions from yesterday. The member for Eildon asked the minister to provide a guarantee, which is an action, although I believe her intention was to seek information about the timing of completion of certain works. While I will not rule out the member’s question on this occasion, I once again implore members to take more care with their language when preparing constituency questions and to check with the clerks if there is any doubt about admissibility. The member for Euroa asked two questions in her contribution yesterday. Members must only ask a single question during their constituency question. I therefore rule the member’s question out of order.
