Cranbourne electorate
Pauline RICHARDS (Cranbourne) (14:42): (1513) My constituency question is to the Minister for Mental Health Ms Stitt in the other place. I would like to ask: how does the children’s health and wellbeing local benefit the Cranbourne and greater south-east community? This important service offers free support for children aged zero to 11 – and their families and carers – experiencing developmental, behavioural and emotional challenges. It has been operating since 2023, and it is a key service provided by the Victorian Labor government. This service is free of charge, with no referrals needed, and it was a key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. I am so proud of the services operating in our community. The way that we support families and children is at the heart of everything we do. The future is bright, and I look forward to the minister’s response.
