I am speaking of Bun Bun Bakery, the iconic Springvale institution which has just been crowned the winner of the coveted Vic’s Picks best banh mi award. This award is a spectacular testament to the quality of their famous crusty rolls and their delicious fillings, whether it is crispy pork, lemongrass chicken, barbecue pork or tofu for the vegetarians. Serving hundreds, sometimes thousands, of these world-class banh mi every day, the team at Bun Bun are true culinary masters. This success is not just Bun Bun’s, it is a win for the whole of Springvale business precinct, showcasing the rich cultural diversity that makes our community so special.
