School saving bonus
Meng Heang TAK (Clarinda) (16:04): I want to thank every school across the Clarinda district for the role they play in our community and wish all the students and families the best for the school year 2025. Upon return to school, the popular school saving bonus continues to provide cost-of-living relief to thousands of Victorian families, paying for uniforms, textbooks and activities thanks to the Allan Labor government. I was delighted to join the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education at Athol Road Primary School in Springvale South to remind government school and eligible non-government school families that they can still spend their $400 bonus on items leading up to the start of term 1 and beyond. I was thrilled to see that Athol Road Primary School families have already benefited from the cost-of-living support provided by the school saving bonus, and it was amazing to hear from families just how important the bonus is, helping all kids to fully participate in school and get the most out of their time in and out of the classroom.
