The SPEAKER (09:35): I have received a message from the Legislative Council:

The Legislative Council informs the Legislative Assembly that they have agreed to the following resolution ‍–

That this House meets with the Legislative Assembly for the purpose of sitting and voting together to choose a person to hold the place in the Senate rendered vacant by the resignation of Senator Janet Rice, and as proposed by the Assembly, the place and time of such meeting be the Legislative Assembly Chamber on Wednesday, 1 May 2024 at 6.00 pm.

It was a pleasure to have them with us last evening.
