Tamanno Zavqieva

Ms SPENCE: I would also like to share the great news that Tamanno Zavqieva, a Craigieburn student at Hume Anglican Grammar, has been awarded second place in the year 10 to 12 category in the 2022 Parliament Prize. This year’s Parliament Prize saw 675 entries from 145 schools across Victoria. In a members statement titled ‘Cancer comes in fruity flavours’ Tamanno highlighted the harmful effects of vaping in adolescence and called for government to fund a collaboration of the public health sector and industry groups to raise awareness on the health risks of vaping.
