Legislative Council Privileges Committee
The
Privileges Committee examines and reports to the Legislative Council on
possible breaches of parliamentary privilege and contempts of parliament.
On referral from the President, the Committee may also investigate alleged breaches of Part 3 and Part 4 of the Members of Parliament (Standards) Act 1978.
