Petition Reduce the kangaroo population in North Central Victoria

angela.j.barclay@gmail.com started this petition

The petition of certain citizens of the State of Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Council the current kangaroo problem in North Central Victoria that requires serious and urgent attention for the safety of the people and protection of crops.

Locals in the Dunolly and surrounding areas are colliding with kangaroos during the daytime and the Maryborough-Dunolly Road especially is always lined with carcasses. The locals describe the current kangaroo overpopulation as a plague and feel totally helpless about it.

The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Council call on the Government to address the current kangaroo problem in North Central Victoria by reducing the population for the safety of people and protection of crops.
