Petition Expand public transport services for Ballarat, Ballan, Buninyong and Bacchus Marsh

The petition of certain citizens of the State of Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Council that residents of Ballarat, Ballan, Buninyong and Bacchus Marsh rely on public transport to access employment, education, healthcare and essential services. The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Council call on the Government to expand public transport services for Ballarat, Ballan, Buninyong and Bacchus Marsh by increasing the frequency and capacity of train and bus services, improving evening and weekend timetables, strengthening connections between regional towns and local communities, upgrading public transport infrastructure where required, and publishing a long-term transport improvement plan with regular public reporting on implementation and service outcomes.
