This petition of residents in Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Assembly the sustainability of community and not for profit preschools. Recent changes to State Government regulatory environments and the resulting financial implications have added significant compliance and service delivery risks, putting Crossway Preschool, Brighton in an untenable financial position for 2026 and beyond.

Action:

The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Assembly introduces flexibility in regulations and compliance procedures for small, local, not for profit preschools to ensure their sustainability as a vital part of our communities.
