Martin Cameron to ask the Minister for Emergency Services —
With reference to the Hazelwood North Country Fire Authority (CFA) shed, which was deemed not fit-for-purpose after an audit was conducted more than 16 years ago. Initially, funding was indicated for an upgrade, but when it became clear the site required a more substantial solution there was a transition from an upgrade pathway to a full replacement:
(1) When did that transition occur.
(2) Why hasn’t it progressed into a funded project.
(3) Why has the replacement stalled.
(4) Where does the rebuild of the Hazelwood North CFA sit within the capital works pipeline.
(5) Why has the replacement of this station not been prioritised or funded despite the audit findings.
