Martin Cameron to ask the Minister for Emergency Services — 

With reference to the new Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) station in Moe that was announced almost four years ago:

(1) The 2024-25 FRV annual report states that FRV expects to finalise the purchase of one of the subdivided lots in November 2025. Has FRV now acquired the land to enable construction of the new fit for purpose FRV station.

(2) If so, when is construction of the new FRV station scheduled to begin.

Settlement of the purchase of the Moe site is now complete. Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) is undertaking the necessary planning and permit stages of the project. A timeline for construction will be communicated as soon as it is finalised.
