Question on Notice
Ms Ryan to ask the Minister for Public Transport — In 2021, how many medical cases were attended by Government funded private medical practitioners at Flinders Street Station.
- Answered: 15 August 2022
The Victorian Government does not have a contract with a private event medical company.
The metropolitan rail operator Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) has a contract with Colmed Group to supply experienced and qualified First Aid personnel, to attend ill or injured passengers on the Metropolitan rail network. Staff are located at key stations across the network, including Flinders Street station.
In 2021, the Colmed Group treated 118 patients at Flinders Street station.
