Law Week finale at Parliament House
Community members from all walks of life found out some more about our law at Parliament House on Sunday 19 May.
In the finale for this year's Law Week, the Victorian Parliament, the Victoria Law Foundation and the Victorian Electoral Commission joined forces to provide a variety of information to people about the way in which our laws are made in Victoria, how parliamentary committees work and how elections are conducted.
Entertainment was provided by the Bottled Snail lawyers' orchestra and the Victoria Police Pipe Band, with the Rotary Club of Warrandyte/Donvale cooking up some democracy sausages in support of their community work.
