Tours

Public Tours

Public tours of Parliament are conducted on days when Parliament is not sitting. To check the sitting days click here.

Public tours take place at 9.30 am, 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm and 3.45 pm from the Vestibule.

It is not necessary to book for a public tour, unless you have a group of 6 or more.

School and Group Tours

Groups of 6 or more people must book for tours of Parliament. Tours for primary, secondary, tertiary and adult education classes along with other group tours take place at 9.00 am, 10.00 am, 11.00 am, 12 noon, 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm on non-sitting days.

In addition, year 5, 6 and 7 students can take part in a Parliament Role Play at Parliament House or Parliament can visit your school as part of the Parliamentary Information Talks program. For more information, visit the Parliament Role Play and Parliamentary Information Talks pages.

Tours are also available on sitting days, at the following times: 9.00 am, 10.00 am, 11.00 am, 1.30 pm (Question Time), 3.00 pm and 7.45 pm (on Tuesday and Wednesday nights only).
