Footnote

The Appendix lists statutory rules made during 2000 and examined by the Regulation Review Subcommittee as at December 2000. The Appendix categorises statutory rules according to whether they were made with a regulation impact statement (RIS) or whether they were exceptions to the RIS requirement under section 8 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 (the Act) or exemptions to that requirement under section 9 of the Act. The Regulation Review Subcommittee did not move for disallowance of any the regulations made in 2000 considered up to December 2000, however it did enter into correspondence with the responsible Ministers concerning aspects of some statutory rules. At the time of publication the Subcommittee had not finally approved SR 66 – Forests Miscellaneous Regulations 2000 and is awaiting a response from the Minister.
