As you are aware, your Committee has been asked to consider and report on this Bill by a motion passed by the Legislative Council today.

In accordance with the agreed practice, I certify that this Bill contains only amendments and repeals appropriate for a statute law revision Bill and does not make any substantive changes to the statute law of Victoria. The Acts proposed to be repealed by the Bill are now (or with the relocation of transitional provisions effected by the Bill will be) entirely spent in their operation and can be safely repealed.
