Road Safety

The Road Safety Committee is a Joint Investigatory Committee of the Parliament of Victoria.

The Committee was established under the Parliamentary Committees Act 2003 and its members have been drawn from both the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council. In the 57th Parliament of Victoria, its members were appointed in the sitting week commencing Thursday 05 May 2011.

INQUIRY INTO SERIOUS INJURY

On the 29 November 2012, the Road Safety Committee received terms of reference to inquire into and report by 12 December 2013 on the Inquiry into Serious Injury.

TABLING DATE UPDATE

By resolution of the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, 26 June 2013, the reporting date for the Inquiry into Serious Injury has been extended to 30 June 2014.

Call for Submissions closed on Friday 22 March 2013.
Submissions 1 to 36 are now published on the inquiry submissions page.
