Inquiry into the Cause of Fatality and Injury on Victorian Farms

On 6 May 2003, the Rural and Regional Services and Development Committee of the Parliament of Victoria received Terms of Reference from the Victorian Premier to inquire into the cause of fatality and injury on Victorian farms.

The Reference requires the all-party Committee to identify the causes and nature of fatality and injury on Victorian farms and to identify strategies to improve farm safety.

The Committee called for submissions and held public hearings in Melbourne, Canberra and throughout Victoria. Go to the submissions page to view the submissions received and to the transcripts of evidence page to read the proceedings of the public hearings.
