On 1 March 2007 the Rural and Regional Committee of the Parliament of Victoria received a terms of reference to inquire into the Proposed Changes to Taxation Arrangements for Managed Investment Schemes (Non-Forestry).

The reference requires the all-party Committee to inquire into, consider and report on the potential economic impacts to Victoria's rural and regional businesses and communities as a result of the proposed changes to the taxation arrangements for Managed Investment Schemes (non-forestry).
