diagram for layout of the Chamber)
Public access was co-ordinated by Attendant staff in accordance with the practices of the Parliament, that is, seats were not reserved but were given to the first people who turn up on the day. This was the case for the whole day's proceedings. Special school groups etc were co-ordinated jointly by the Education officer, the Principal Attendant and the Bendigo Executive Officer. Additional viewing locations were made available for live broadcast. The ABC (Regional) televised the event in full for a broadcast into the town library. Question time was broadcast live to air on the ABC in regional Victoria.
