The Parliamentary Library Reference Service provides information services directly to Members of Parliament and their staff. The Reference Service creates Bills Backgrounders for selected bills being debated in the Victorian legislature. Bills Backgrounders provide weblinks to related legislation, reports, documents, statistics or organisations linked to a particular bill. They are issued irregularly and the Parliamentary Library does not guarantee any forthcoming bills will be covered by a Bills Backgrounder.

All information and weblinks contained in Bills Backgrounders are current at time of publication, however the Parliamentary Library cannot guarantee the permanancy of these weblinks nor the accuracy of the information contained therein.
