Career: Became publisher of his step-brother's Sydney Gazette, and the Currency Lad; overlanded to Port Phillip Dec 1839; settled on Lexington run near Ararat 1842-1852; then model farmer and squire at Point Henry near Geelong; killed by aboriginals when taking up a run in Queensland.
