Appointment of Victoria's new Auditor-General
On Tuesday 19 July 2016, the Chair of the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee, Mr Danny Pearson MP, announced the appointment of Mr Andrew Greaves as Victoria's new Auditor-General.
Mr Greaves was unanimously selected by the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee following an international search and competitive recruitment process.
Mr Greaves is currently the Auditor-General of Queensland. He has held this position since 2011. He is an Executive Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government, a Fellow of CPA Australia, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He also holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University.
Mr Greaves will commence in the role of Auditor-General of Victoria from 19 September 2016.
Final Report Tabled - National Partnership Agreements
The Committee tabled its final report on the Inquiry into the Impact on Victorian Government Service Delivery of changes to National Partnership Agreements in Parliament on Thursday 23 June 2016.
