Inquiry into Local Economic Development in Outer Suburban Melbourne
On 1 March 2007 the Outer Suburban/Interface Services and Development Committee of the Parliament of Victoria received a terms of reference from the Legislative Assembly to inquire into Local Economic Development in Outer Suburban Melbourne.
The Committee was required to make its final report to Parliament by 30 September 2008 and tabled its report on the next available sitting date being 8 October 2008.
The report was tabled in the Legislative Assembly by Committee Chair George Seitz MLA, and in the Legislative Council by Committee Member Colleen Hartland MLC.
The Committee wishes to thank all of the people and organisations who contributed their time and knowledge to assist the Committee in its deliberations for this Inquiry.
The Government has six months in which to table a response to the Committee’s Report.
