On the 31 March 2009, the Parliament amended the reporting date for the Inquiry into the Sustainable Development of Agribusiness in Outer Suburban Melbourne. The new date for the report to be tabled in the Parliament is 31 March 2010.

On 9 October 2008 the Outer Suburban/Interface Services and Development Committee of the Parliament of Victoria received a terms of reference from the Legislative Assembly to inquire into Sustainable Development of Agribusiness in Outer Suburban Melbourne.

The Committee has called for submissions, to be received no later than Monday 2 February 2009.
