CHAPTER SEVEN MOVEMENT OF BALLAST IN AND OUT OF VICTORIA

In Term of Reference (a), the Committee is asked to examine the sources, movement and management of ballast water in Victoria. In this Chapter, the Committee provides an overview of Victoria's commercial ports, and examines the sources and movement of ships and ballast into Victoria's ports. Current ballast water management in the State is addressed in Chapter 8.
