CHAPTER FIVE LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORK

In Term of Reference (c), the Committee is asked to make recommendations on the adequacy of Commonwealth and Victorian legislation to minimise the environmental impacts of ballast water.

The Committee examined international, national and State legislation and other relevant agreements to ascertain how they do, or could potentially apply to ballast water management in Victoria.
