Professional Development for Teachers
Professional development courses for school teachers and teachers in the adult education sector (EAL and adult literacy and numeracy).
Parliament provides several professional development sessions for teachers annually. One of these is in collaboration with the Civics and Citizenship Network and includes presentations from various agencies that also provide tours and resources in civics and citizenship.
The next PD day will be held on Tuesday 25 July. Bookings are now open, so get in early to book a spot. All teachers, including pre-service teachers, are welcome. See the flyer below for details and how to book.
Adult Education Teachers
Extensive activity books and a data disc are available for EAL and adult literacy and numeracy. Parliament offers professional development sessions for TAFE, AMES, and ACFE providers. Delivered on-site or for regional groups, the minimum number of attendees is approximately ten.
