Documents Tabled in Parliament

Summary

A number of documents have to be formally presented to the Legislative Assembly. This is known as tabling. Records are kept of everything tabled.

Tabling

  1. What types of documents are tabled? The most common documents are annual reports from government departments and agencies such as hospitals and universities. Other documents often tabled are petitions, statutory rules and notices of amended planning schemes. For more information:

  1. Getting copies of tabled reports. After it has been tabled, a document is publicly available. If stocks permit, copies are available from the Assembly Procedure Office, otherwise it is usually possible to arrange to inspect it:
