Drawn on the Issues: 150 years of state political cartoons

As part of the Parliament of Victoria's 150th anniversary celebration, the Cartoon Exhibition will feature published cartoons of former Victorian Premiers and significant political events from Melbourne's newspapers and political journals since 1856.

 

Sources include Melbourne Punch (late 1800s and early 1900s), The Age, The Sun, The Herald, and various political journals.

 

To be held in Queen's Hall, Parliament House, the exhibition will run from 6 to 24 March and will be open Monday to Friday, from 9am until 4:30pm each day.
